Moksha Sannyasa Yogah - This is never to be spoken by you to one who is devoid of austerities or devotion, nor to one who does not render service, nor to one who desires not to listen, nor to one who cavils at Me.

इदं ते नातपस्काय नाभक्ताय कदाचन |
न चाशुश्रूषवे वाच्यं न च मां योऽभ्यसूयति ||67||

This is never to be spoken by you to one who is devoid of austerities or devotion, nor to one who does not render service, nor to one who desires not to listen, nor to one who cavils at Me.

Atapaskāya: To the non-austere.
Abhaktāya: To the non-devoted.
Aśuśrūṣave: To the unwilling listener.
Abhyasūyati: Who cavils.

Krishna provides guidance about sharing spiritual knowledge, emphasizing that wisdom must be given to receptive listeners capable of benefiting from it. This isn't spiritual elitism but practical recognition that teachings offered prematurely or inappropriately can be misunderstood or misused.

य इदं परमं गुह्यं मद्भक्तेष्वभिधास्यति |
भक्तिं मयि परां कृत्वा मामेवैष्यत्यसंशय: ||68||

He who with supreme devotion to Me will teach this supreme secret to My devotees, shall doubtless come to Me.

Paramaṃ: Supreme.
Guhyaṃ: Secret.
Abhidhāsyati: Will teach.
Asaṃśayaḥ: Without doubt.

Those who share divine wisdom with devotees perform the highest service. This elevation of spiritual teaching above all other activities reveals how the transmission of liberating knowledge creates an unbroken lineage of enlightenment, extending the benefits of wisdom beyond individual liberation.

न च तस्मान्मनुष्येषु कश्चिन्मे प्रियकृत्तम: |
भविता न च मे तस्मादन्य: प्रियतरो भुवि ||69||

Nor is there any among men who does dearer service to Me, nor shall there be another on earth dearer to Me than he.

Moksha Sannyasa Yogah - And he who shall study this sacred dialogue of ours, by him I shall have been worshipped through the sacrifice of knowledge; such is My conviction.

अध्येष्यते च य इमं धर्म्यं संवादमावयो: |
ज्ञानयज्ञेन तेनाहमिष्ट: स्यामिति मे मति: ||70||

And he who shall study this sacred dialogue of ours, by him I shall have been worshipped through the sacrifice of knowledge; such is My conviction.

श्रद्धावाननसूयश्च शृणुयादपि यो नर: |
सोऽपि मुक्त: शुभाँल्लोकान्प्राप्नुयात्पुण्यकर्मणाम् ||71||

The man also who hears this, full of faith and free from malice, he too, liberated, shall attain to the happy worlds of those of righteous deeds.

Śraddhāvān: Faithful.
Anasūyaḥ: Non-envious.
Śṛṇuyāt: Would hear.
Puṇyakarmāṇām: Of virtuous deeds.

Even attentive listening with faith brings spiritual merit, making wisdom accessible even to those without philosophical training. कच्चिदेतच्छ्रुतं पार्थ त्वयैकाग्रेण चेतसा |
कच्चिदज्ञानसम्मोह: प्रनष्टस्ते धनञ्जय ||72||

Has this been heard by you, O Partha, with one-pointed mind? Has your delusion caused by ignorance been destroyed, O Dhananjaya?

Ekāgreṇa: With one-pointed.
Cetasā: Mind.
Ajñānasaṃmohaḥ: Delusion of ignorance.
Pranaṣṭaḥ: Destroyed.

Krishna concludes his teaching by checking Arjuna's understanding, emphasizing that mere hearing isn't enough—the teaching must dispel confusion and enable right action. This shows how spiritual wisdom isn't abstract theory but practical guidance meant to transform behavior.

अर्जुन उवाच नष्टो मोह: स्मृतिर्लब्धा त्वत्प्रसादान्मयाच्युत |
स्थितोऽस्मि गतसन्देह: करिष्ये वचनं तव ||73||

Arjuna said: My delusion is destroyed, and I have gained my memory through Your grace, O Achyuta. I am firm; my doubts are gone. I will do according to Your word.

Naṣṭo: Destroyed.
Mohaḥ: Delusion.
Smṛtiḥ: Memory.
Labdhā: Gained.
