Wearing divine garlands and garments, anointed with celestial fragrances, the Supreme Being was full of all wonders, infinite, and with faces everywhere.
If a thousand suns were to rise at once in the sky, their radiance might resemble the splendor of the Supreme Being.
There, within the body of the God of gods, Arjuna saw the entire universe divided into manifold parts assembled together.
Then, Arjuna, filled with amazement, his hair standing on end, bowed his head in reverence and with folded hands addressed the Lord.
Arjuna said: O Lord, I see in Your body all the gods and multitudes of beings, the Lord Brahma seated on a lotus, and all the sages and celestial serpents.
I see You with countless arms, stomachs, mouths, and eyes; Your form is infinite, and I do not see Your end, middle, or beginning, O Lord of the universe.
I see You crowned, armed with a mace, and a discus, blazing with radiance on all sides, as a mass of light too dazzling to behold, glowing like the blazing sun or fire.
